In the remote region of Nusa Tenggara Timur, many communities lack access to reliable electricity, which poses significant challenges for essential services like healthcare. The development of solar-powered solutions aims to address this issue by harnessing sunlight to provide consistent, efficient energy—especially for those in off-grid areas.
One such example is a health clinic located in Nimasi, which struggled to operate effectively due to its reliance on an aging diesel generator. Frequent power outages and unpredictable fuel supplies made it difficult to maintain essential medical services, putting patients at risk.
Recognizing this urgent need, ATW Solar and Bosch collaborated on a CSR initiative to install an off-grid solar energy system, providing the clinic with a reliable, sustainable source of power. Thanks to this project, the clinic can now operate without fear of losing electricity, ensuring it can continue delivering critical healthcare services to the community—even after sunset.
