As an effort to contribute to local human resource development in renewable energy, PT. ATW Sejahtera has concluded an engineering recruitment program through cooperation with Faculty of Renewable Energy, Politeknik Negeri Jember. The event was held on Tuesday, September 12th, 2017.
In the event, PT. ATW Sejahtera and POLIJE has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to initiate an internship program that continues to alumni recruitment program. Through the cooperation, PT. ATW Sejahtera aims to develop renewable energy in Jember and East Java. For POLIJE, this program would help the renewable energy major that graduates can find work in company directly related to their study. This recruitment is the first industrial recruitment from a company specializing in renewable energy in Jember.
The agreement was signed by Paulus Wahono, CEO of PT. ATW Sejahtera and Dr. Bayu Rudiyanto M.Si., Head of Technical Major together with Saiful Anwar, S.TP, MP, Vice President of POLIJE. The event was also facilitated by REC Solar International represented by Mr. Victor Samuel; together with Gaia Duma team, a business group in Jember that focus in renewable energy industry; and Ibnu Hari Nurcahyo and Gde Sudiharto as representative of East Java branch of ATW Sejahtera.
On the other side, this event was part of a conjoined mission of local stakeholders to develop youth potential of Jember and its proximity that would be facilitated in terms of excellent education to become reliable engineers in renewable energy industry.
On the same day, an Industrial Meet and Dinner ensembled stakeholders to further discuss potential action steps to harness solar energy for electricity. PT ATW Sejahtera, Gaia Duma group and audiences agreed to initiate and push application of solar energy to increase quality of local development and support economic activities of Jember society, especially in industries closely linked to societal wealth, such as agriculture and fishery. Research and development activities are regarded as an essential part of the strategic plan to realize the vision of developing renewable energy in Jember and East Java.
