JAKARTA, September 11, 2025 – ATW Solar joined regional government leaders and other key industry players in signing the Solar Archipelago Declaration, a pivotal outcome of the Indonesia Solar Summit (ISS) 2025.
Hosted by the Institute for Essential Services Reform (IESR) in collaboration with government ministries and the Indonesia Solar Energy Association (AESI), the Indonesia Solar Summit (ISS) 2025 is a collaborative platform uniting all actors in the solar energy ecosystem. The summit serves as an arena to build shared commitments and accelerate the transformation of Indonesia’s energy system toward a clean, equitable, and sustainable future.
The newly signed declaration codifies a joint commitment among its signatories to:
- Broaden the application of solar energy across public facilities, MSMEs, Islamic boarding schools, residential homes, and industries.
- Implement this commitment through coordinated policy support, regional budgeting, and corporate investments during the 2025-2026 period.
- Promote multi-stakeholder collaboration to achieve these objectives.
The declaration affirms solar energy as a primary engine for achieving energy equity, fostering green economic growth, and executing tangible climate action across the Indonesian archipelago.
